About the event
Japa is a Sanskrit word which means repeating or remembering a mantra. Ajapa-japa means continuous awareness of the mantra. The letter A in front of the word japa means without. Therefore, ajapa-japa is the practice of japa without the mental effort normally needed to repeat the mantra.
We'll be working with a mantra honoring Ganesha and his energy which removes obstacles (and places them as a means of redirection) and sends blessings for new beginnings of all kinds. This energy is playful, joyful and powerful!
This meditation and chanting will be held indoors at my home in Swannanoa, NC on Friday 12/6 from 12-1:30pm. No Experience necessary. Pronunciation will be reviewed.
