Ajapa Japa Mantra Meditation: Lakshmi

Japa is a Sanskrit word which means repeating or remembering a mantra. Ajapa-japa means continuous awareness of the mantra, or of what the mantra represents. The letter A in front of the word japa means without. Ajapa-japa is the practice of japa without the mental effort normally needed to repeat the mantra.

We'll be working with a mantra honoring Lakshmi. Lakshmi is a Hindu Goddess of beauty, health, wealth, abundance, prosperity and goodness.  This is the perfect time of year to tap into her qualities! The flowers and trees are in full bloom and the world is brimming with abundance! 

This meditation and chanting will be held outdoors at my home in Swannanoa, NC on Saturday 6/1 from 2-4pm. No Experience necessary. Pronunciation will be reviewed.
