Ajapa Japa Mantra Meditation: Saraswati

Japa is a Sanskrit word which means repeating or remembering a mantra. Ajapa-japa means continuous awareness of the mantra, or of what the mantra represents. The letter A in front of the word japa means without. Ajapa-japa is the practice of japa without the mental effort normally needed to repeat the mantra.

We'll be working with a mantra honoring Saraswati. Sarawati is a Hindu Goddess of music, language, wisdom and insight.  We can tap into her qualities when we need inspiration, clarity of mind and confidence with speaking or writing.

This meditation and chanting will be held outdoors at my home in Swannanoa, NC on Saturday 4/20 from 2-4pm. No Experience necessary. Pronunciation will be reviewed.
