Devotional Song Share

Please join me on Sunday 2/19 from 2-4pm outside (hopefully around the fire), at my home in Swannanoa, NC for a Devotional Song Share!

Singing together in community is something we have done as humans for as long as we’ve been human. The practice is and of itself, sacred. This devotional song share will combine the ancient tradition of group singing with the meditative power of devotional song. Singing devotional songs together in a group helps us to remember that each of us has an avenue directly to the heart through the voice. Singing helps to process and release emotion and is a fully embodied practice. This gathering offers an experience of deep feeling, connection to the voice and heart and an opportunity to cultivate a sense of devotion and gratitude.

You are invited to bring a song/Bhajan of praise, gratitude, joy, growth/love from any culture or practice. It may also be nice to have a musical instrument (drum/rattle/guitar, etc.). Medicine songs and rainbow songs are also welcomed! Or you can simply come to listen and receive.

Donations from the heart are welcomed but not required.
