About the event
When we begin our dance with the inner Goddess, we are inviting our deep-seated gifts of creativity and unconditional love to awaken, arise and flourish. This journey can be a doorway, an opening to the infinite, divine creative source residing within each person.
Connecting with myth and Goddess qualities can create a profound sense of awe and reverence, helping us tap into that pulse of divine power within.
Through svadhyaya (self-study) meditation, prayer, movement, altar making, myth, mantra and journaling, we will stoke the inner fires of the sacred feminine, cultivating devotion, present awareness and deep connection.
While there are many aspects of the Goddess from many traditions, this 12- week series will focus on four Goddesses from the Hindu and yogic traditions: Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Kali. We will dance with each Goddess for two weeks.
