Outdoor Song Share around the Fire
Please join me as we gather outdoors around the fire in Swannanoa, NC on Sunday December 5th from 4-5:30pm. We gather to sing and connect with the heart of devotion.

About the event
This is not a performance. While this tradition has some common ground with and draws inspiration from kirtan, this is also not a kirtan. This is a practice of remembering that each of us has an avenue directly to the heart through the voice. This devotional song share is about deep feeling, connection to the voice and cultivating a sense of devotion and gratitude. We will be in the energies of the New Moon; an excellent time to consider what you are calling into your life and heart. You are invited to bring a song/Bhajan of praise, gratitude, joy, growth/love from any culture or practice. It may also be nice to have a musical instrument (drum/rattle/guitar, etc.). Medicine songs and rainbow songs also welcomed! Or you can simply come to listen and receive. We will be meeting at my house in Swannanoa, NC. I have a little fire pit and a yard with plenty of space. Dress appropriately for the weather with layers for warmth.
